The Q900T as the Q suggests is a quad-core phone which features MediaTek’s MT6589T Cortex-A7 chipset, with a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU. It comes with 4.7-inch HD IPS ’2.5D’ display, with a glass panel covering the entire front end of the phone. The back features matte black plastic with a light-colour strip under the camera. The Q900T gets 1GB of RAM, but will only run Android 4.2, like most other phones with MediaTek processors. It’s got more than capable hardware for KitKat, so it’s surprising to see Jelly Bean on this phone.
On the back is an 8MP camera with BSI sensor. The main camera can shoot 1080p video, which is an excellent feature at this price point. Xolo has also included a 2MP front shooter, which can be used for 3G or Wi-Fi video calls and selfies. The phone will have dual SIM slots and an 1800 mAh battery. In addition, there’s 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and the usual connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS
